VISG is a supporter of "Auckland: It's Our Volcano" (AIOV) which is an initiative that was set up in 2006 by scientists from the IESE and GNS Science to facilitate collaboration between all groups and organisations with research interests in the Auckland Volcanic Field (AVF).
